no... i don't remember the exact quote, but he said something like i'm gonna tie you down so you don't go crazy when you find out what's about to happen to you. in reference to him explaining he's gonna kill him.

I heard island too and asked my husband but he heard "you". Thought I was crazy. Rewatching it now so I'll check!

I doubt it's really what he said...but nevertheless my ears heard it!
Apparently closed captions confirms he said "you."

"you" is said before and after "island". Island is a little slured but I'm sure that was intensional. I don't think closed captioning is derived directly from the script but I'm not sure where I heard that. I think from a debate years ago on what was really said on lost.

This is what I hear word for word: "I'm going to strap you in just in case you figure out what's about to happen to the island. Can't have you freaking out." Well maybe it could've said "what's about to happen to the eye" ha ha, poor Mikhail!
Anyway, I wrote this word for word:
KEAMY: "I'm going to strap you in just in case you figure out what's about to happen to the island. Can't have you freaking out. I don't think you realize how unhappy Mr. Paik was when he found out he was doing his little girl. And another twenty five grand that you were supposed to deliver, that was my fee for poping you. From what I hear, anyone who works for Paik knows the cardinal rule, hands off the boss's daughter. But you couldn't resist though could you. The heart wants what the heart wants."
JIN: "Thank you"
KEAMY: "I'm sorry. Some people just aren't meant to be together.
Sooo, sound a little bit like our Widmore/Penny/Desmond triangle? So Keamy is hired by both Widmore and Paik, who many people always believed were linked. Both fathers are determined to keep their daughters away from the men they love.
Next scene, Widmore gets angry at Zoe for letting Jin come. WIDMORE: "This was not supposed to happen for days. We had a time table...." ZOE: "....Well maybe you should've put a mercenary in charge instead of a geophysicist." WIDMORE: "What's done is done. I need you to get the package from the infermorary..."
So here is my theory: Widmore is aware of the two time lines. They could be running parallel, not necessarily on time, but by the fact that what happens in the sideways time line will effect the island time line. So Keamy straps Jin in so not to effect what he is about to do. Jin gets free thanks to Saiyd (another original Lostie who is also probably effecting his own outcome as well). Because Jin disrupted the plan in the sideways reality, it allows him to be able to now get to Widmore on the island, disrupting the "time table" widmore had planned. Widmore realizes something must have happened causing Jin to get there sooner and accepts it by saying "What's done is done."
Could the pockets of energy be what creates the two time lines? Is that energy the smoke monster? If Widmore knows about them, then he could be trying to find the energy to stop it. He doesn't want that "thing" Jin knows as John Locke to get off the island or everything would cease to be. Time lines stop.
Also, why Desmond? I guessed it would be Desmond because of Widmore's conversation with Jin about being kept away from his wife and daughter. I now see the parallel between Jin/Sun/Mr Paik that there is with Desmond/Penny/Widmore. So perhaps by capturing Desmond and Jin, both father's can keep these men away from their daughters. I bet Widmore is playing into Jin's sympathies of Sun and Ji Jeon, because if Widmore and Paik are working together they are on a mission.

I also think Widmore could be aware of the sideways world.

He could have said "I'm going to strap you in just in case you figure out what's about to happen to ya and I (short pause) can't have you freaking out but I could be wrong. I didn't even catch that the first time.

I thought I heard it too, but after rewinding and relistening a couple times I'm pretty sure it's something like you say Soreal.
