Here's my crazy theory. I think MiB and Jacob are/were brothers. MiB was tortured or hurt in some way by his mother who was "crazy". Jacob murdered their mother to protect MiB. The Bloody Blonde Kid is Jacob right after murdering their mom. I think they were already on the island when this happened and that MiB resents Jacob for this.

I like it, but why would MIB want to kill his brother so badly for protecting him? Why would he be trapped on the Island as a result?

warrick123 I didn't steal or read your theory, sorry if it is the same. After last night I think I may adjust it. MiB said Jacob has his body. So perhaps when MiB saw bloody kid he was seeing himself in the past. I think now he killed his own mother and was brought to the island by Jacob to find redemption, but that J realized MiB could not be redeemed so he has trapped him here.

I don't know why but I was thinking that when MiB was talking about his mother who was crazy he was channeling Locke and telling Kate about Locke's crazy mother. MiB is all about manipulating the losties to do his bidding. Sayid wants to have Nadia back, Sawyer wants off the island, Claire wants her baby back. Kate wants to help Claire so with Claire losing it she was losing that will to help Claire.... with MiB telling her the story of "his" mother going crazy helps keep Kate on her mission of helping Claire. |

What if the MiB and Bloody Kid are one in the same and he is Aaron. Meaning the crazy mother is Claire and MiB is the one who drove his own mother carzy keeping him in this loop with Jacob. If Aaron "is raised by another" then he wouldn't be exposed to Crazy Claire and end up killing her. This is definitely crackpotty.

So that would mean that MIB would have to get Claire off the island caue Claire is pretty crazy right now. Or he would have to bring Aaron to the island but that would go against the theroy he needs everyone gone before he can leave.

Yeah, that's why I can't get behind the idea of the kid being Aaron. He'd have to grow up...come to the Island...then go back in time so MIB knows who he is enough be freaked out by his sudden appearance. That...seems like a lengthy and perplexing story to explain in the short time we have left.

Exactly. Crazy Claire along with everyone else leave the island. She regains custody of Aaron, starting the loop over again.

I just thought of something that I dont think it may deal with it, but may.
Its crazy and I dont know how this could/would/etc happen
Remember when they were stuck time traveling and Sawyer saw Kate and Claire delivering Aaron? Technically there were two of the people time traveling, so maybe some how there were two Aarons and MIB snagged him.....

Kate, Claire, and Aaron were not time traveling, Sawyer and friends time travels back to when Aaron was born. And even if he was kidnapped by someone who time traveling he would not go with them during the next flash. Only those who where on the island at the time of the Ben turning the donkey wheel where flashing. |
