Just a Quirky, Small theory.
In the Flassssh Sideways, Miles tells Sawyer he has a date with a friend of his who works at the museum with his dad, IE> Charlotte.
Sawyer asked, if she is so great, why dont you go out with her? And Miles replys with, "ive got a girlfriend"
I think that In the flashsideways, miles is with Juliet. Maybe in the early stages of a relationship. Clearly, Sawyer didnt know abotu Juliet yet, or even that Miles had a Girlfriend, seeing as how he suggested miles go ut with charlotte..But at some point that short thing with juliet will end. This is how Sawyer will meet Juliet, and "Go Dutch" over some coffee.
