I doubt they'll ever touch on him again, but I would love any mention of the real Henry Gale in any way shape or form.

That would be cool - maybe he's a weather balloon soecialist on loan to the Jet Propulsion Labs in CA who comes to Ben's school to give a Career Day presentation - yeah that's a HUGE stretch - but it would be cool.

I'd even take a character looking at a newspaper and a side article mentioning a man flying around the world in a balloon successfully multiple times or something. And have a picture of Henry Gale (like from his license or something) to the side.

Actually although never really appearing on the show he was an interesting character. How did a balloonist find his way to this island when Widmore with his billions could not. We know he survived on the island because he wrote his note on the $20 while on the Island. Who would break his neck and who would bury him and perhaps even more importantly why would Ben assume his identity?
For a long time we even could not call Ben "Ben" we were calling him Benry. I remember the Bare Naked Hurley's even wrote a song "Oh Benry"

Maybe Jacob called Gale to the Island as a Candidate, but things didn't work out.
