In the original timeline Jack works at St. San Sebastian. In the flashsideway it is St. Sebastian. This was definitely done on purpose because you can see how Jack's business card was modified to reflect this

Sorry this may turn into a theory but only one timeline is real and as the writers have said not an alternative,
Obviously the sideways is pretty realistic. no talking with dead, no time travel, no smoke monsters, no polar bears on a tropical island, no h-bomb incident, no island moving, no pushing a button every 108 minutes, etc.
Resolving 2 issues Someone pointed out the test Alex was to take is given in the spring and not the fall. If the flashsideways is real we are not just stuck in September 2004, this particular flashsideway could be April 2005.
Ben and his dad were in the Dharma initiative on the Island. Just because we have been exposed to LOST for 6 years, it does not mean a regular island could not have housed a group of scientist to work on projects.
A logical but a cop out ending would be that someone from the flashsideways just writes a fantasy book/movie/TV series called LOST.
This would be a huge disappointment and I have faith that Lindeloff and Cuse have something better in store,

I couldn't find a mention of St. San Sebastian on lostpedia, only St. Sebastian. The card above definitely looks awkward though. Where did the San reference come from?

Darlton said there is so alternate timeline because that insinuates one isn't real, and they insist BOTH are, and should be treated as such. Claire's ultrasound pictures gave the date of 10/22/04. On the podcast they said it was supposed to say 9/22/04 but was a prop error, in TV Guide magazine they said it was just the due date...but either way Flight 815 was still made September 22, 2004. But that doesn't necessarily mean Ben's sideways wasn't shown later on down the line time-wise just in time for AP tests. Also, Jack's work badge from season 1 clearly has him working at St. Sebastian's. Not St. San Sebastian...that would be redundant. 'San' is Spanish for 'Saint.'

Statement right, but reason wrong. Where'd you get the "San" from?

I am wrong but I thought the Hospital was called St. San Sebastion in an earlier episode. I do understand that it would be redundant, but definitely the card has something specifically smudged out.
Perhaps that logo on the hospital badge was on the business card and it could be a copyright infringement.

The picture does make the card look odd, but when you watch the episode that smudged part is really a gray version of the heart with the plus sign in it.
