Hi all. This is my first post, and my first theory here.
We have two skeletons on the island, in a cave. They are known as Adam and Eve. And we know of only two people who are a constant on the island: Jacob and his nemesis.
Would it not make sense that the skeletons are their initial bodies? And that they have been using dead people bodies ever since? It seems important on the island to bury people and no one buried properly ever showed up thereafter. But the unburied have often been used by either Jacob or his nemesis, or both.
So are Adam and Eve in fact Jacob and his nemesis? It surely would work.
What? One of the skeleton is female? It makes no difference. They use bodies regardless of sex. And the statue represent a goddess doesn't it?

I still want them to be Emelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan - I did a theory about that a long time again - and I'm stickin' to it.
Simply put - she disappears after a fuel stop in the South Pacific on her way to Hawaii - who's to say she didn't crash land on a weird little island that just popped out of nowhere??? Hmmmmmmm ;D

OK I marked this theory as FAR OUT because, well I HAD THE SAME THEORY. It was going well too until MIB said he had "once been a man like you" (he said to Sawyer). I was like DARN why did he have to say that...it would have been awesome if he was really a female. Yea yea, you could always still say well MIB didn't mean "man" as in male, it meant "man" as in human. yeah I guess but this is a stretch. I think if Darlton wanted to keep this theory alive they would of have MIB say he was a "person" like you. I don't know, but from what he said there. I think our theory was proven wrong...boo. If it comes back around that would be AWESOME!

Welcome to the forums!
At this point, Adam and Ever could really be freakin' anyone.... I'm less inclined to think it's Jacob and MIB though because that would mean the skeletons are super duper old...and they just don't look THAT old. I think Jack said something about them being around 50 years old since becoming skeletons...?

Thanks for the welcome!
Corrwill: Have you thought that Jacob could have been the female? Jacob lives in the foot of the statue after all, and as I said it represent a goddess...
Spinaltumor: We had several clues that time on the Island is not like time off the Island. And with time traveling a reality, it is really difficult to make any arguments that concerns time with certitude.

Adam and Eve could very well be Charles and Eloise. Maybe the sacrifice they made gave them the power or ability to know the future? Especially after what she said and the way she behaved when talking to Desmond in Happily Ever After. Very crackpot theory. Just thinking of the black and white rocks with Adam and Eve and Charles painting of the scale in his office.

Adam and Eve could very well be Charles and Eloise. Now, THAT's a theory. Exalt.

I even went one step further, that they are scorned lovers.....Think about how FLocke is acting.... how many of you have ex-girlfriends/wives/boyfriends/husbands that act the same way. lostpodcast.proboards.com/index.c....ead=9545&page=1
