I have 3 questions/comments about what has happened so far this season:
1. When Flocke was on the way to the cave with Sawyer, they stopped in the jungle and he said "I've been trapped for so long". I think the implication was that he was trapped somewhere on the island - but I think he was really referring to having been trapped on the island - not having been allowed to leave the island. I think the island itself was some sort of prison for him - to prevent him from ever getting off-island. It sort of harkens back to another theory I heard on here that related Esau to the serpent in the garden of Eden and how he said he wanted to go home - and I think that means he wants to go off-island.
2. What the heck happened to Rose and Bernard? Are they still living in their little retirement hut but now in present time with the rest of the losties? Will we see them again?
3. And finally - a friend of mine had this comment that I think is well worth mentioning: Jacob sent Hurley and Jack to the lighthouse in the last episode, and told them to turn the compass to 108 degrees. Once Jack realized their names were on the compass, and once he realized he could see something in those mirrors as it was being turned, wouldn't one of them have said "gee, I wonder whose name is on 108 and what we'll see if we turn it to that?" They didn't even look! Come on!
