It just dawned on me that the island has never been named. I can see us not knowing the name the Others have for it, as they're all sneaky and secretive about everything, but what about the DHARMA Initiative? Wouldn't they give it some kind of name, at least when they're actually on it? I'm just surprised that as a super fan it's never dawned on me that we've never heard anybody call the island by any moniker other than "Crap-Hole Island," which I still love. What would YOU name the island?

I can't think of anything better than "The Island". To those who know about it, that's all that would be needed.

THE Island just makes it sound all the more important.
If the little island is Hydra Island, maybe Dharma called the main one Dharma Island?

I heard the name of the island was "The Eyeland". There is a track called The Eyeland on the first season soundtrack too.

Since all the soundtrack titles tend to be puns and such, I wouldn't put TOO much weight on that.
