Season 6 Schedule

Bottom line, nothing is set in stone yet, but there may be a two week break for the Olympics.

Personally, I care more about the start date than if there will be a break or not.

My bet's on the 20th. Although that bothers me because if Lost remains on Wednesdays it may get pushed to the 10:00 slot. Ugh.

Here is a snipet from a Variety article about winter scheduling:
“Lost” could shift to Tuesdays for its final season, perhaps leading into or out of “V,” which could be the net’s best shot at holding an aud opposite “American Idol,” which returns in January. ABC would be foolish, meanwhile, if it doesn’t devote more than one hour of air a week to “Lost,” perhaps making room for a discussion show after each episode.

I would like to see some kind of second airing where the producers and/or actors discuss what has happened in the ep from that week and how it fits the overall picture.

That would be great, Mike...but somehow I think any 'discussion show' would just turn out to be just the episodes with those pop-ups.

It looks like Lost won't be on Wednesdays, though. And that abc will be keeping their comedy line-up and add Ugly Betty at the end of the mix. Meaning Tuesdays do look like the best choice to pair Lost with V. Thursdays could work too, if it's paired with FlashForward.
