Hi all,
I was just thinking....
You know way back years ago when Locke was leading the Losties through the jungle.....and he stood away from the rest and declared it was going to rain in like 3 seconds.....and then it rained?
I do not think it was just good luck on Locke's behalf.
He was time travelling....so he knew when it was going to rain.
But here is where I am confused.....
When we have previously seen Locke time travel, he has actually been in a position where he actually watches himself do whatever it is he is going to do..... and the past cannot be changed, right? Well in this instance he was actually doing the speach....so the the time travel must have taken place PRIOR to the rain falling.
So, in the above example, to me it would mean that either Locke came back and advised HIMSELF that he had to stand in the position and say, "rain will fall in yadda yadda..", or somebody else time traveled to advise Locke to do that....in order to make Locke a believer.
Was it the evil (good??) guy who traveled back in time to advise Locke, or was it the good (evil??) guy who did so? It could not have been Ben or Richard Alpert....as both were shocked to see Locke time travel a season or so back....so I assume it was one of the good/evil guys.
Or was it Locke himself?
I don't know....just rambling.
Cya.

Interesting. Wasn't one of the mysterious things in the first season that Locke would disappear off in the jungle and no one knew what he was doing? Maybe he was talking to himself.

Eh, I just think he knows how to read the signs of nature. He studied it all quite a considerable bit before ever going to Australia.
