LOST & Knowing (movie) Plane Crash

We watched the movie Knowing with Nicolas Cage tonight. I wanted to see it because it seemed to have LOST related material. The one thing that I noticed most was a scene in the movie with a plane crash. I swear it is the exact same footage as a promo I saw for LOST season 6. I thought for sure I would find video on YouTube, but I can't find what I'm looking for anywhere! I'm starting to think I'm going crazy, but I know I'm not!

The promo I am thinking of showed a grey and rainy sky as a plane is crashing down, cuts right through power lines, as the wing tears right through a busy highway and crashing on the ground. I think it was meant to look like the plane crashing somewhere else (maybe LAX).

Possibly I saw some fan made video that used this clip, but I swore it was an official promo I saw on TV. I did watch a bunch of the comic con clips, so maybe it was shown there??

Seems weird if they are reusing footage from a movie, and I was hoping to compare the two scenes. Surely someone here can find a link!

I saw this awhile ago. I know what you mean I really thought it was a promo for Lost. Whoever made it, did a really great job.

At the beginning of the clip did it have Matthew Fox waking up, finding a body next to his bed and going into the bathroom then that plane crash is shown? Because I saw that too and it turns out it was Matthew Fox in another show and then the knowing scene.

Thanks. It probably was a fan made video. Some of them are so good that you would think they are official. I when ever I see something like that, I assume that the clips are actually from LOST.
