What are your Top 5 Best or Worst moments of season five (1 being the worst of all, or best of all)? Jay and Jack came up with the idea, I thought I'd transfer it over to the boards because I'm curious of everyone's opinion Here are Mine :
Worst:
5. Phil Hitting Juliet - You never ever EVER hit a woman, especially a women as good looking as Juliet
4. Lack of Desmond near the end of the season - What happened? Desmond had to have been doing something too!
3. Rose & Bernard's excuse for not working with the D.I- They needed to spend more time on them, I felt they just ran into them Rose said "We're retired" and that was the end of these pretty good and involved characters.
2. Not Giving ManInBlack's Name - I guess this shouldn't be considered "worst" because I love that they didn't give it and the reaction that it had amongst the fans.
1. Locke's Body Dumed Onto The Beach - This was terrible. Watch Walkabout and then watch them dump his body out on the beach like he was nothing, and tell me that doesn't cheat the greatest character on this show.
Best:
5. The Widmore Reveal in Jughead - When I heard Richard say "Widmore" Me and the three buddies I watch with went crazy
4. Benjamin Linus - Yes, I'm using a whole character. Michael Emerson was PHENOMENAL in portraying Ben. The way he can switch emotions, and the way he did it with such power and emotion really blew me away. Congrats on the Emmy nomination Micheal, you deserve it and I'm sure we're all rooting for you.
3. Juliet "Exploding" Jughead, and the Inverse Credits - Not only was Juliet Banging on Jughead a powerful moment, but seeing the white background and thinking "okay the bomb went off, and now they'll cut to something that will explain what next season will be about" and then having LOST come in with black letters, completely changing for the first time what has been going on the last 5 seasons. To me, that meant: you've seen what's happened up to this point, and this (Jughead exploding) is a real game changer, forget everything you thought you knew or were used to (hence the white background and black letters).
2. Ben's "What about me?" speech- Powerful, Emotional, Brilliant.
1. Jacob's Reveal/Conversation with Esau - I haven't been able to get this scene out of my head. Usually we wait till the end of the finale to find out what to expect next season, and that's usually what us fans will be talking about, but in my opinion fans are equally talking about the first scene, with the incredible reveal of this guy who we see knitting and fishing as the magical, spiritual Jacob. What's incredible in my opinion is that the scene is only, say, 5 minutes long with only a few lines of dialog, but in those few lines, and in those few minutes, the LOST Universe changed forever, and it will never shift back, and having a short scene with such little dialog to do something like that really, in my opinion shows the powerful writing this show has, and the brilliance behind the creators, and the writers. This scene captures the magic of this wonderful show.
Okay, you've seen my list, What's yours?
