hi all
Been awhile, but am rewatching first couple of seasons and something just keeps bothering me about Kate, or at least one scene in particular: in All the best cowboys ... when Jack's attempting to revive Charlie, what gives with her telling Jack, a surgeon, to quit???

Because Kate sucks.
Haha, noo, noo....
I just think it doesn't take long after one meets Jack to realize he's very Mr. Fix-it and tends not to like giving up. Charlie looked very much like a total goner and she probably just wanted to help Jack accept that. Thank goodness he's so stubborn.

I agree with spinaltumor. When you are doing CPR in the middle of the jungle without the aid of a defibulator, it would be almost impossible to get a heart working again. And I think she just wanted him to stop, because to Kate, Charlie had already gone. And Jack was now just beating on him. Def one of the most powerful scenes I think Lost ever had.
