kairos Noun
kairos (uncountable)
1. A time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a crucial action; the opportune and decisive moment.I'm surprised we haven't seen any mention of this word related to LOST yet. The ancient Greeks had two words that referred to time. One was "chronos," which is the way we usually define time - by a clock or calendar. The other word was "kairos," which is said to be "God's time," or moments of our lives that seem to transcend time, such as the time we experience while dreaming or during a déjà vu or while simply "staring off into space." I'd like to read everyone's thoughts about this and how it relates to LOST. Here is a link to the Wikipedia article for reference: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kairos

It'd be cool if they mentioned the concept on Lost, but since they haven't yet I'm not sure what to say on the subject.
Interesting find, though.
