When Esau (for lack of a better name) says to Ben (paraphrasing) "the island told me. Doesn't the island talk to you?" -- what does he mean by this exactly?
Is he just jerking Ben around? Sowing doubt in him? Instilling a further sense of inadequacy? Or, are both Jacob and Esau subservient to a higher power that either does or doesn't talk to them?
Do you think the island, itself, is something other/more than Esau, Jacob or the both of them combined?
The island doesn't want you to die, etc.

I'd imagine he was just messing with Ben. Giving Ben more motivation to later want to kill Jacob.
Although "everyone answers to someone" so I wouldn't be surprised if Jacob and Esau know of a power higher than themselves.
At this point I'm more inclined to think the only reason the Island is "special" is simply because Esau and Jacob make it that way. But we'll see.

Having just watched the Final Episode of Season 5 which airer here in Australia tonight I'd have to agree with Spinal, but I'm worried that there is no more "real" Loche.
