From the previews it does look like several of them enter the Temple...but is it the basement again or the actual Temple?
I watched the sneak clips from the episode...they're all awesome. I can't wait!

On a different note [but still pertaining to Daniel] did anyone else notice that he had NOT been wearing his TIE when he had on the Dharma jumpsuits??? Maybe that's what happened>>>his TIE wasn't there to protect him from his 'evil mother' !!!!

John has his head together, finally. It was cool how the island told him to take Richard to tell himself that he had to die in order to get back to the island. I liked when John pointed out to Ben that Ben must not know what is going on if the island never taked to him directly. I like the scene where John and Ben are walking along the beach and John had just invited everyone to come and see Jacob with him. When he tells Ben he plans on killing Jacob, Ben looks shocked. Is this because Ben knows Jacob isn't real? Or is it because Ben knows that Jacob is really John Locke, in some weird time tripping sort of way, and killing himself on the island would have much different results than him getting killed off the island? I am glad Richard is more of a staple character now. He is a really good character and he is acted wonderfully. Kudos!

Hey, there's a bigger discussion about this episode going on in the Lost Theories section right above this one

Did the island really tell Locke when he'd be by the plane, or did he just recognize that Richard was dressed exactly as he had been when it happened to him?

Oh my God, I know! It looked kinda cool from the front, but as it passed the camera and went under... my HDTV almost threw up!

Yeah I was like "uuuhhh...." when the sub was going down. Kind of ridiculous. I just always tell myself they blew all their budget on the pilot episode, haha.

Did the island really tell Locke when he'd be by the plane, or did he just recognize that Richard was dressed exactly as he had been when it happened to him? It seems unlikely to me that John, after all those years, would be caught up on Richard's outfit.

Submarine diving CGi horror show - discuss... Ummm, yeah. That was some piss poor CGI work. Would it have been that hard to find a sub from the 70's and rent it for the afternoon to record a real shot? Probably much more expensive... OR... how about some stock footage of a real submarine from the 70's? I am sure there is a whole library of stock footage for this exact purpose!

Exactly...it looked shocking. I love the show, but that's the 2nd time this season that wack CGI has let me down! The first was when smokey showed Ben memories of Alex...oh my god, what should've been a fantastic, serious scene was completely let down, laughable almost! Like you say, find some old footage, or just don't show it if it looks nutse - the sub has gone, fine, I believe you, I don't need to see it diving into that CGI muck-fest to understand that...

I dunno, I think he coulda' noticed; or maybe it was more Richard's attitude and tone that Locke recognized, along with the threads.
