Flash-Forward Advert during The Variable

On last week's pod-cast for "The Variable", Jay and Jack mentioned the strange "viral" commercial during Lost...In case you don't know, this is a promotion for the new TV series called Flash-Forward, based on a novel by Robert Sawyer. They are calling this a "companion for Lost". ...I am halfway through the book now and I can see how this will compliment Lost. In the book there is a semi-mystical bald headed guy, a pirate with eyeliner, and a fugitive...just kidding. ... No spoilers...

Maybe there is life after Lost for Jay and Jack

Um, from everything I've read on it, it's a show where everyone around the world sees their future (like 21or something years into the future).

I'm guessing the "lost companion" is just to get people to watch it.
