Thinking about Daniel and the time line makes my head hurt.
I was thinking about Charlotte though. Daniel did what he said he wouldn’t. He told her to leave, which leads her asking her mother about it in later years and being told it was a dream, which leads her to search for the island, which leads her to remember a scary man that tells her to leave right before she dies etc. Ouch, my head is hurting again.
I recently saw the season 2 episode called “?”, It was about Echo’s past as a pretend father in the church. In this episode a distraught woman in Australia talked about a daughter that drowned but came back to life. She goes to the local church and Father Tundy (Echo) is asked to investigate the miracle. The Mother insists this is a miracle. The Father insists his wife is a zealot and punishing him because he is a fraud, that he is a physic that finds out info about people and then exploits it, bringing miracles to those who need one. He is also the psychic that Claire saw while pregnant and told her that she must raise her child and puts her on Flight 815. I remember when the episode aired thinking that was an important connection. Well guess what the lovely red headed daughter who drowned and came back to life name is. Yep, her name is Charlotte.
Since they have gone to lengths to not show us her parents, is this our charlotte? I was thinking she was too young, but really I’m not sure when this was in Echo’s past and time works different off the island. I’m not sure if this is even important to the story. It’s really just an observation. What do you think?
