in the trailer, for 2 weeks from now we see the return of daniel
where has he been,did he some how time travel again,and went
back a couple years in the past.
or my theory that he went off island to see star wars,and you have to see it a couple time.

why would he have to go back in the past?
I think it's apparent that he left either on the first sub out, or one later on in between the 3 years, and went to ann arbor and is trying to change things (or finish out some plan he has, I mean he knows a lot about what's going on that he isnt sharing so there's still more to that)

I don't think he left the Island right away, but I think he's still been gone for a while.
Maybe something he found is why they started building the Swan.

i forgot that it had been 3 years maybe he left a couple of months after on the sub. that why they havent seen each other for a while
