But the no touching rule hasn't been broken (I know, not the same thing/question/theory but I thought it should be mentioned).
Anyway, yeah that's now definitely not why the Ajira people didn't show up in this time. (I'm still sticking to thinking it was just the island choosing who to bring back in time, and it wanted ben/locke in 2007, jack/etc in 77, and didnt want the new 3rd group back in time)

no, you are right they havent got that close to each other yet,maybe it will cause something to happen.

We already knew the same person
could be in the same time twice. We saw that when Aaron was born. Sawyer and Locke were for sure elsewhere on the island during that skip.
In fact the comic con video also shows this since we saw two of the same bunny at the same time.
Regarding what happens if they touch, Chang thinks something bad, but we don't know for sure yet.

but they were not there long enough for anything to happen,now miles has been with/near that baby for 3 months or so.
