Sawyer and them may have looked for others, but Jack and Kate haven't even asked after Claire or anyone else.
Only Jack, Claire and Locke have seen Christian, haven't they? WE know where and when he is. Not all the characters do.

in the last weeks eposoide,sun and frank see christain, ben seen christain, no you are right not all the charactor know where or who christain is.
not sure why their not asking more questions we'll have to wait and see.

yes right, i'm not sure we'll see jacob/smokey or whatever in christain form in 77,but we'll
see a form of him in someone else.
i was just thinking about this when hurly went to the cabin and looked in he say christain/jacob in the rocker,before the eye poped up. but he never had a face to face.

ok when sawyer and crew first got to 77,they most have spent alot of time looking for the other,and never found them.they were searching for their poeple for awhile. so they knew they were alone. we know christain is in 2007 with sun and frank we saw that, he wont be showing up in the 70's because he not dead yet. they would know they were in 2007 because that when they left from and they went back 30 years. now it could be a couple years either way depending on how fast time moves outside the island.
Is this another "Charlotte type" screw-up in the show's timelines or is there a good reason for them to have been brought back to the island a year earlier? ? |

We don't know when Claire is at all. Christian seems to be outside of time, since we saw him in the FDW room with Locke in long past. The question for Claire is whether she sits outside time like Christian, skipped in time like every other Lostie on the beach, or if she somehow stayed in 2004 while in the cabin with Jacob.
One assumes a conversation maybe in the bus happened explaining that Sawyer and team had been searching the island for the last 3 years and found no one from the original 815 crash.

Jack noted in the last Podcast that Jack's head isn't in a place where he seems to care about this, now...and I partly agree, the only reason I bring it up is because we see that Jack's meeting with Claire's mother at his father's memorial is the trigger, or the start of his eventual breakdown. He really can't hide from his responsibilities as he hoped he could. It's what leads him to the bridge over the LA river in 3.22. I'd just like to see the writers address it.
