How is it that Amy's baby could be born alive? (No wonder Juliette was all choked up. She's lost her share of baby mamas.) what happened to the Island that preggers folk died? What was special about Amy's kid? Was it, like Claire's and Sun's, conceived off-island? If so, where and when did Amy conceive? And how are they getting off and on the island, during this time period, easily enough to get off and come back pregnant?

Sawyer did kind of plant the idea that whatever was causing the women to die when Juliet was 1st brought to the island hadn't happened yet when he was trying to get her to help Amy in 1977. A lot can happen in the 24 years between her helping Amy deliver and when she 1st arrived in 2001 (give or take).

I think whatever it is that happened has to do with the Jughead bomb, the Purge gas that killed everyone, or the Incident, or all of the above.

Now that we know who he is we can start wondering how he didn't get killed in the purge since he was only around 14

She brought him into this world, and he brought her to the Island...haha sort of, it was actually Richard really. I think Richard came to him as a young lad just like he came to Ben.

Now that we know who he is we can start wondering how he didn't get killed in the purge since he was only around 14 It could be that maybe Richard insisted that everyone under 18 be saved and added to their society.

Don't forget about Chang's baby. We still don't know when that scene was besides sometime after "LaFleur" & Co got to Dharmaville since we saw Daniel working construction.

Now that we know who he is we can start wondering how he didn't get killed in the purge since he was only around 14 He must have ran away to the 'Others' along with Ben. I would not be suprised if there are other 'Others' who are former Dharma as well and they would be young also. I have no idea how old 1977 Ben was supposed to be, since he never stated his age, but his speech and demeanor seemed to be that of a boy of 10 or so. That would make him about 10 years older than Ethan. We also know that prior to leaving the island via the FDW that Ben came and went, no doubt by the then still functioning sub. It is very likely that Ethan was sent away to school to become a doctor since they (the Richard Alpert etc. 'others' needed to have one due to the baby difficulties. That did not work out for them so they went and fetched Juliet. It could be that there are other we do no know about.
