I vote Ethan because it sets up one of those "if we kill him now - he can't cause us problems in the future" kind of conundrums - which we all know - can't happen because Francois Chang (Marvin Candle) says so.

The only problem with any of them - well except for Jacob - we don't really know how old he is - maybe "The Incident" threw him so far back in time he built the 4 toed satue himself - but he is almost eternal now LOL - is that they are too old.
Remember - Amy has the baby in 1977 and the LOSTies come across the other guys in 2004 and 2005 - which would make them 28 at the most - all of them are well over 28.

Even though amy's baby's name is ethan, doesn't necessarily mean that this Ethan is the same Ethan from the others camp that went and blended in with the rest of the survivors... Just a thought cuze remeber, this is Lost  |

This may be Lost, but the show doesn't really seem to lie about the information it gives us like that. Unless it's coming from Ben's mouth, I tend to trust it.
I think this Ethan is our Ethan. Only thing more subject to change would be his personality and whatnot from difference of upbringing if that sort of thing can even change.
