This is the first time I have ever posted in a forum ever so please forgive me if these theories have already been discussed...
First on an older episode
The Little Prince
Does anyone remeber the cartoon series called The Little Prince? It was about a boy who lived on a little asteroid and was the Prince of the asteroid... It was based on a book by a french guy.
Do you think that the cartoon/book has anything to do with LOST? I mean, there are very few coincidences in this show right?
I haven't heard anyone else mention it....So, what do you think??
Also looking forward to the next episode which is titled "Namaste"...
From web definition
Namaste is an Indian greeting......"I honor the God within you;" used as a greeting in India, often spoken with palms together. Ram Dass' transliteration of "Namaste" is very beautiful: "I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of light, of truth and of peace. ...
Also, we all know, or maybe some of us don't, that Richard Alpert, as well as being a character on LOST, was a spirtitual teacher
From Wikipedia
" Richard Alpert (born April 6, 1931), also known as Baba Ram Dass, is a contemporary spiritual teacher who wrote the 1971 bestseller Be Here Now. He is well known for his association with Timothy Leary at Harvard University in the early 1960s. He is also known for his travels to India and his association with the Hindu guru Neem Karoli Baba."
So I think that this may confirm alot of other peoples theories that Richard was indeed named after this man.
