Episode 7 - Overlooked theory/problem?

One thing bothers me about the Life and Death of JB.

At the end if the scene we see Ben helping Locke, and then Locke mentions Mrs Hawking.
Ben appears not to like this and kills Locke.

However, we then see Ben cleaning the room up. He puts his cleaning equipment (gloves, spray, cloth etc) into a bag and then takes the bag with him.

Where the hell did he get this bag from?

Something tells me that Ben was going to kill Locke all along. I mean, I don't usually carry a bag full of cleaning equipment with me when I go an visit someone.

He probably went out and bought the supplies. A certain amount of time had passed because you see Locke hanging from the cord. I'd be more interested in figuring out how he was able to hoist Locke into position.

Hmm, either way. There would be no finger prints since Ben cleaned them all up.

Suspicious. Either way, Ben seemed slightly upset when he said "Goodbye John"

I agree, I think Ben bought the supplies afterwards or had them in his car. I don't remember him having a bag when he came into the hotel room, maybe he thought Locke would suspect something if he had a bag with him when he first entered the room.

I'm also wondering how he hung Locke. I think Ben helped Rousseau set up the traps, so maybe he knows how to create those sort of things.

i thought he just bought the stuff at walmart, you can get all your killing needed at that store.
or suicide needs,they might have a sale on ext. cords.just messing ha ha. but that was a great sence it made me jump up and yell WHY at ben!

Ben ALWAYS knows what he's about to do.


And chances are, if you're Benjamin Linus, someone around you is gonna get killed and you're gonna have to make it look like an accident. He was in the Island Boy Scout troop.....always prepared.

Ben definitely planned to kill him. After he got all the info he wanted anyway.

The biggest problem with Locke and his death is the amount of time his body was laying around. The way this episode went - and the others where Locke is seen - makes it seem like just a matter of days have passed from the time of his murder and the time he's loaded onto Flight 316.

The problem with this is the story of Jack taking all of those Friday Night flights - hoping to re-crash on the island. They made it sound as if that had been going on for quite some time - you can also take into account the growth of Jack's horrific looking beard.

Was his body kept on ice all that time? And if Ben was keeping tabs on the body - why even bother with a funeral home? Why leave him in the hotel room at all - he must have had the means to move and keep the body - unless he knew Jack would come looking based on the death notice.

And who found Locke's body if Ben didn't keep it? No autopsy? No embalming? And how did the cuts and scrapes on his face heal? He looked pretty good in the coffin while looking pretty scraped up at his death.

the hotel staff found the body when he didnt check out, i dont think there was maid service there. well they put lots of makeup on you when you die to look nice for your family,then when he got back to the island it healed him up.
