Why would anyone get on a plane if they saw the O6 getting on board? Wouldn't you just run back off?
I guess some were in disguise...
I wonder what it feels like to get on a plane from Hawaii to LA and see one of the actors on board.

Well, it's been 3 years since their return so they are really, really old news by this point. I bet many people boarding the plane were so wrapped up in getting on the plane, getting to their seats, etc that they weren't even paying attention to who was sitting in first class. And, again, the O6 are yesterday's news from 3 years ago.

It's funny yeah...on the lost panel discussion in L.A. after season 3 i believe, the cast and producers answered fan questions and stuff...jimmy kimmel hosted. Jimmy was like...did you all fly on the same plane to get here...that must have been weird right? made me laugh

Thanks Corrwill, Exalt to you. I love that ad, it's so funny. Let's see Shannon's dead, Claire is missing, Hurley is back on the island, so is Sun, Jin is working for Dharma in the 70's and Desmond was down the Hatch until he imploded it. lol

I agree. I think the writers screwed up. 6 people returning from a shipwrecked plane? There is no way at least a few people wouldn't have recognized at least a few of them, and then as word spread people would realize that many of them were together and this would quickly become big news. In fact, you'd have to think most or all of the airline employees would have recognized most of the Oceanic 6. How could anyone working in the airline industry not remember the Oceanic 6?
For them to all just anonomously board a plan all together with no fanfare or recognition is just unrealistic, and poor writing. Bummer.

Well a few thoughts on this.
1. Most of the O6 got on the plane after everyone else. And Kate hid her face so no one saw her.
2. It's been 3 years. The media has a tendency to follow things for a little while, and will drop a story, and go onto something else. Right now we will all recognize Capt Sully, but who says in 3 years we will recognize him.
3. Maybe when you see the roster you see all of the names you think maybe they are all going overseas to do a reunion special for a foreign tv show, or talk aabout their experiences since the crash. Maybe they are all going to a memorial or something else. Yeah I don't think I would want to be on that flight. But to everyone else they are the 5 luckiest people in the world, because the lived, so why not be on the same flight as those 5, maybe that luck will rub off.
