Jack -
Back in the summer during one of your podcasts, you were talking about Five Guys Burgers and Fries. If I remember correctly, you said that they had your favorite burger.
Well, last fall some local metro-Detroit business owners bought the rights to Detroit franchises. It looks like one is opening any day now by my office and I've been itching to try it. Any suggestions on what to get and how to have it prepared?
On a separate note, please tell me that you aren't a Hurricanes fan.

Jay's the big expert on Big-5, but I like most anything they have.
Go Canes.
Since San Diego doesn't have an NHL team when I move to Raleigh. I adopted the Hurricanes. First sports team besides the San Diego Soccers to win it all. That I rooted for.

I didn't know that Raleigh had a pro sports team, either. Go Wings!

Five Guys - YUM There's a store about 4 blocks from where I work and when I am in that area I always stop in for lunch - large cheeseburger (really a double cheeseburger) with onion and pickles - ketchup and mustard (and a ton of napkins) and fries. It has a limited menu (burgers, hot dogs and fries) - but that makes it good. The only thing missing is a nice cold Vanilla Milk Shake to dip the fries in All you can get to drink there are sodas - but if you love fries - you're gonna love them - in their plain brown bag. There's a rumor - tho unsubstantiated - that the Panthers are a pro team too
