Explanation of your amazing preview abilities?

Jack, as far as I know, you and Jay haven't discussed how you came to have amazing Lost preview superpowers, or at least you haven't discussed it on the podcast. How did you get picked, did you contact ABC or did they contact you? Who else has these powers? It seems as if Ryan and Jen do. Do you lose these superpowers if someone brings a piece of the exploded Swan Station near you? And just how powerful are you, i.e. how far ahead of the airing do you get the ability to see into the future? I think all the listeners would be interested.

They finally did it, got Matthew Fox drunk, and stole his copies. That's why Matthew was not found until the next day bound and gagged in a hotel room the day after Comic Con....Wait I don't think I was supposed to find out about that.
