Amy Winehouse has canceled, too bad. I enjoyed her performance in 07 and was looking forward to seeing her again.
BUT
The Chemical Brothers, The Orb, Etienne de Crecy (with the effing CUBE), Devendra Banhart, and Murder City Devils
I LOVE the Orb, I like the Chem Bros, Devendra, and Etienne, but someone needs to fill me in on Murder City Devils. Never listened to them.

Are they done with the updates now? I keep half-expecting to see The White Stripes added, at which point I would either have a heart attack or try desperately for tickets and eventually slink into a deep depression.

One more name is expected to replace Winehouse or bump down the Killers... maybe the Stripes.
btw, Jack White's new project is awesome.

M.I.A. added to replace Amy Winehouse. Good, because her set last year was a total trainwreck. I enjoyed her when I saw her in Vegas in 2007, and hopefully she'll put on a good show. Also, this is likely to be her last show for a while so it'll be cool to see her again. Saturday is still a pretty weak day though

I don't know what you did to get such low karma, but I'll give you a point for liking good music.

Nice! But I thought you already had one.. ? How'd you win it??
You know The Dead Weather's first show is on the 14th in New York, so... I dunno... 3 days later, I guess they could be in CA. Man, if they got added now, that would really piss me off!!

I did, but I sold it to my friend for cheap after I found out I won. And I won them in a UC Irvine contest, so me and some friends drove up there yesterday to pick them up. It would be really cool if the Dead Weather played (I mean the Kills are already there!) it could happen but I don't think it will.

so on Friday I saw full sets from People Under the Stairs, The Black Keys, Franz Ferdinand, Girl Talk, and the Presets. I also saw most of Ghostland Observatory, the last half of Paul McCartney, and a few songs from the Hold Steady, Los Campesinos!, Leonard Cohen, and the Airborne Toxic Event. On Saturday I saw full sets from Henry Rollins, Thievery Corporation, MIA, and Glass Candy. I saw most of thenewno2, Dr. Dog, the Bloody Beetroots, Tinariwen, and Gang Gang Dance. I saw a few songs from Liars, Bob Mould Band, TV on the Radio, The Chemical Brothers, and MSTRKRFT. On Sunday I saw full sets from Lykke Li, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Kills. I saw most of Friendly Fires, the Gaslight Anthem, My Bloody Valentine, and Groove Armada. I saw a few songs from F***ed Up, K'Naan, Peter Bjorn & John, The Orb, Throbbing Gristle, Roni Size, Etienne De Crecy, and the Cure.
My absolute favorites of the weekend were probably Franz Ferdinand, Ghostland Observatory, Thievery Corporation, Glass Candy, Lykke Li, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and My Bloody Valentine, but almost everyone was awesome. I'll have pictures soon.
