I think they are funny. I think is because Windows has connected so many people over the internet to so many people, more so than anyone else. Before Windows it was not as easy to use the internet. So the commercials are trying to show Bill trying to relate to the rest of us. And why not use Jerry Seinfeld someone whose comedy routine is based upon relating to the rest of us.
I like Bill, he is one of the richest men in the world, and he dresses like my old high school teachers.
