I know you've had some problems with the quality of TalkShoe, so I was wondering if you've looked into BlogTalkRadio? I listen to a fantasy football podcast that they and they are using that site to take live calls, and it seems to work a lot better. Just thought I'd throw that out there. www.blogtalkradio.com

I think it's strictly a phone call in medium, but it is much clearer than the shoephone method on talkshoe, and it can handle up to 5 call-ins simutaneously.
I don't work for them, or have any affiliation. I'm just a long time listener to the Lost podcast and Jay & Jack shows. I thought it might be something for Jay or Jack to look into.
I tried listening to the football podcast Jack did, and it at times was inaudible. Choppy and can only hear one person at a time.

i think that people including me would rather call in using a computer so we dont have to worry about long distance charges

That's true, but since most people have Long Distance included on their cell phone, it probably wouldn't effect them. As long as they don't call while driving!
