Meh. M. E. H. Meh. A mediocre episode at best, doubt it will make a dent in Dark Knight's box office.

That's too bad. I wanted to see it.

Would have made a good 2 hour TV movie - that's about it.

I liked it better the second time. First time was after almost a week of very little sleep, so I was able to take in more with a second viewing. I still hope they do the 2012 story line since that was such a relevant plot point for the series finale. I'll be happy with either the big screen or made-for-tv.

I too hope they find a way to round out the trilogy in a way that wraps up our impending 2012 invasion; however, considering the lukewarm box office and critical response to "I Want To Believe," it seems to me unlikely the studio will want to pony up for it. This film wasn't bad per se, but definitely lack luster compared to the first film and the better episodes; wouldn't it be neat if the final X-Files actually arrived IN 2012?

That would be cool, but I don't want to have to wait that long again for another XF movie. Now if they want to do several before that, then I am all for it.
