If I hear one more person complain about Dr. Manhattan's maness being in the movie, I'm going to smack them. I've seen enough ta-tas in movies to last for a life time, but there is one maness in a movie and people complain. Get over it, half the world has them. Of course those that are complaining must not have read the book. It's in the book.
Sorry I had to get that out.

I was a little disappointed. But they did their best with it. Well I mean Alan Moore claimed to make the graphic novel "unfilmable"

Ha ha ha, big blue junk just ain't for everybody. And I've never understood women equating male genitalia to female breasts.

Ah. I see. Was it still enjoyable? Kind of. As entertainment it was. But as an adaptation to Watchmen it was pretty horrible.

Always presuming. Breasts are for nourishing the young. And while they can certainly be attractive, like any part of a beautiful woman, I believe a vagina is more analogous to a penis. I mean, aren't you turned on by a man's bare chest also, presuming he's all ripped?

I just saw Watchmen! It was really good. I liked the first half a LOT. The second half was also good but I wish they didn't have to cut out the whole thing with the newsstand, pirate story, and island . I think if you haven't read the comic and you see it, it would also be good. But by reading the comic you can understand the characters better since there wasn't really enough time to delve TOO deeply into each character. Overall, the comic and movie make a great pair, and I'm really interested to see the director's cut now. I'd give it a 9/10.

It's pretty impossible to do Watchmen faithfully unless you do it LotR-style or as an HBO mini-series. And while there were things I wasn't crazy about (such as the absence of the giant squid), I'm pretty happy with the job Snyder did. It was a big improvement over DotD or 300. There were even things I liked more than the original comic.

THIS is what Watchmen should have been. a total of 12 chapters, twelve episodes, god d**nit, that would have been perfect, especially with an hour an episode that could really dive into the characters background.

I dunno, I've heard a lot of people say this kind of thing, but I think I would have gotten bored watching that much miniseries when I knew basically what was going to happen and how it would end.
