I'm 45 and watched the show Starksy and Hutch growing up. Jack, it sounded like you were disappointed with the shows on dvd. Which season did you get and what were your thoughts on it? I personally hated the recent movie!

I didn't like the premise of the movie where one of the guys is supposed to be a slob and the other was the neat one. That wasn't the idea of the original series. They also made them look really stupid and overly violent if I remember correctly. If they had given it a new name and not made it out to be Starsky and Hutch, it wouldn't have been better. I thought it was a forgettable movie.

My memories of Starsky and Hutch--the tv show---are of getting punched in the arm if I talked during it. It was the parents bowling night and my big brother was left home to torture, I mean watch us. If we talked during the show, he would punch us. Ah, good times!!
