Jin is gonna be fine. I don't know exactly how, but he's going to be fine. I suspect that the difference between Michael's and Jin's survival is that Michael was trapped inside the hold, whereas Jin being up on the edge of the deck meant he had a chance to be blown clear of the ship. Besides, the guy magically survived the crash of a 747 and the wreck of the raft. No reason he shouldn't survive this shipwreck—I choose to believe the Island clearly joins us all in loving him and wanting to keep him around.

Basically - he is confirmed dead - apparently has some new ABC series he is in next year - The Unknowns?

I don't feel Sun will know Jin is alive until they get back to the Island in Season 6. I think she is out on a revenge mission and still believes 100% that Jin is dead and will stop at nothing to destroy those responsible. So I guess now that they gave us the Penny/Desmond reunion we'll have the Jin/Sun reunion to look forward too. Although of all the ships in the show this is the one that interest me the least!

if anyone, I'd say its kate's fault. i could be wrong but didnt she say "take aaron, I'll get Jin"? if she would've taken aaron herself and let sun try to get him, at least they could have been together
