Some of my faves would be the (classic) Looney Toons, A-Team, Night Rider, Muppet Show, Family Ties, Electric Company, Laverne & Shirley, Cheers, MacGyver... and seriously, DALLAS. I had to give you props for the muppet show and the Electric Company. Which reminded me that I loved the old Sesame st. song! They tried to hip it up I think now and it's lame.... I also thought of Zoom, 321 Contact, and Reading Rainbow, although hearing them now they are pretty cheesy. Oh and as for modern TV themesongs I loved the theme to 6 feet Under!

Speaking of '80s TV, anybody else remember Small Wonder? That's the show about the family where the dad invented a robot daughter named Vicki. Nobody outside the family knew she was a robot, suprisingly. She slept standing up in a closet and wore the same dress every day. Spoke in a monotone. Constantly got into mischief. Cheesy theme, but funny lyrics: "She's fantastic! Made of plastic! Microchips here and there..." Good god, I thought I was the only one who remembered that show. It used to come on right before Too Close for Comfort. Absolutely terrible show, even as a kid it made me want to throw shtit at the TV. "She's a small wonder, brings love and laughter, everywherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre!". whoa. I .....think....I ....remember that. I must have buried it deep deep down, in order to get rid of it altogether. But now.....oh. my. no. must shove memory back down into the black pit from whence it came!!!!

Nope, nope, nope...now that you remember the wretchedness that was Small Wonder, you can't unremember it. Here, I'll help: they had a nosy neighbor kid named Harriet with this improbably large head of red hair who was always suspicious of Vicki the robot and in love with her human brother Jamie. Is it all coming back now? I just found an extremely frightening Small Wonder tribute site (frightening because of how thorough it is): members.surfbest.net/smallwonder@surfbest.net/

I won't go there. You can't make me!
I have this little tail of a memory of that girl, but I don't remember the show at all....I don't remember the characters I just see this image of the girl being kind of robotic...
....oh curiosity....oh curiosity, be fickle, curiosity! Don't stay here long but send me back to searching for clips from comic con!!!

Wow the vote sure is close.
Jay's were by far the best, but I am 23, so shows like Doug and TMNT were from my childhood.
I just wanted to mention a few of my favorites: Saved by the bell Eureka The Adventures of Brisco County Junior Smallville Monk The 4400

I wonder why Jay dosent like the Firefly theme music, i think its a great western like song that does a great job encapsulating the show. maybe because hes picky about his westerns

Sorry Jack, I have to go with Jay on this one! Snorks, Captain Planet, the Fresh Prince, and TMNT? Awesome! The only one you are missing, and this is probably the best ever tv theme song there is, is Jem!
Jem! Jem is truly outragous, truly, truly, truly outragous!
I sing this song at least several times a month.

I sing this song at least several times a month. I rock my Jem and the Hallograms shirt on a regular basis still The omittance of that theme song really is a tragedy in Vs. history, I'd say. I think someone should go vote for Jack because of it.

Who's top ten was better? Jay vs. Jack pt 2 this might sound dumb, but where is part 1? I can't find my post.
