So E3 has come with a bang this year. What are everyone's opinions? Favorite announcement? Most anticipated game? Thoughts? There is so much news coming out of E3 that I thought it was appropriate that a topic be created on the forum. E3 coverage: IGNGametrailers.com |

well my opinon is that y is it only opened to like G4 and stuff?, IT HAS TO BE ASSASSINS CREED AND HALO 3 hbu

Microsoft really only focused with games that are coming out before the holiday's this year. I'd like to know what's in the pipeline for the next year. They did mention Alan Wake and Resident Evil 5 in 08 though. Regardless, there are so many games coming out in the next 5 months that is should keep me busy for quite some time. I think I'll be getting a few of these: Bioshock, Halo 3, GTA IV, Assassin's Creed, and maybe a few more.
I only own a 360 and DS. The PS3 is still too expensive to justify a purchase. I waited a year to get a 360 in order for it to have a lot of games to play. Same thing for the PS3. I think I'll probably get one in a year or so when MGS4 and Killzone 2 are out for it (and after another price drop).
So many cool looking games, too little cash and time.

I'm very excited for Assassin's Creed, Mario Kart Wii, Smash Bros. Brawl, Resident Evil 5 and Umbrella Chronicles.
I don't have a PS3 and nothing was announced that would make me want to buy one.
The Wii Zapper is awesome and should add an extra flair to game play.

I just watched the Call of Duty 4 demo from the microsoft confrence at gametrailers.com, and holy hell does it look amazing.
I've been reading rumors that the PS3 "price drop" is only to clear out the current stock of the 60 gig models to make room for the 80 gig model for $599.99. I also read that there may be a $100 price drop on the 360 (across all SKU's) as of Aug 1st. I really don't know if that is really true though.

well i it seems like every new next gen game is turning out to be a winner well JUST remember people that Killzone had a really good trailer back in the day but look at the game it sucked. BUt on the other hand "HALO 3, BIOSHOCK, ASSASSINS CREED, GTA4,MGS4,COD:modern warfare, Meriod 3, and finally Super mario Galaxy" so those are all the games that have really good trailers. if i missed any then corret me or add some of your choices

More price drops are welcome but Sony's taking out the Emotion engine to help reduce the costs of manufacturing them. It'll limit backwards compatibility but hey, I guess they're finally focuing on the new software they've been hyping the technology can support. My most anticipated ones aside from the announed Nintendo first party games are RE5 (OMG), BioShock, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, and Rock Band.
