Recently began playing Starcraft again ;D I was wondering if anyone else plays/has played Starcraft in the past I don't play competitively online...UMS is the way to go Dark Templars are awesome and my favorite. But Lurkers are a close second. All those hours of Lurker D variations pay off  And.... You Must Construct Additional Pylons. |

OO!! Starcraft! ;D I've been addicted to this for like 7 years. Lurkers are my fav I think.. Lurker D never gets old. I wish my brother hadn't lost all.. what 8 Starcraft cds we had? We have 1 set of cds now, so of course I don't get to play.  |

I thought you were addicted to Diablo II? ;D I keep reading that people now are still playing that game are dying for a sequel...its just to bad most fans of online games are busy crusading at the moment. Anyways, the game is huge in Korea. I wonder if Yunjim Kim plays it..

Uh yes I am addicted to Diablo too. Both these games need sequels or something. WoW is pwning them. :/

I have heard there will be a sequel soon (which I too am dying for) but its not 100% sure.
Also, there is that "Starcraft: Ghost" game which was being produced but now is on "indefinite hiatus" or something to that effect. It had potential because you could take the role of a unit. Imagine being a hydralisk ;D
And on Youtube there are all these videos of tournaments in Korea. They take this game way too seriously though. I mean, there was an entire stadium packed full of people to watch two contestants play on a computer. The contestants had headphones to listen and block outside noise, so the viewers didn't really matter much. There was even a live band playing, and commentators. When one guy floated a factory into the opponents base, everyone broke out into cheers. Its quite amusing really.

STARCRAFT!Ah I love this game, I haven't played in ages...the last good game I had was when I owned supersaltine online ;D Oh I just remembered when I was playing and the game yells at me "Your forces are under attack!" my dad would just walk in and go "Your forces are screwed." It always cracked me up  sad i know

Isn't Ghost supposed to be a console FPS? It's been in the works since forever ago...it would be AWESOME on a console.

It is going to be a shooter game, but I don't think a FPS. Still, I have seen some pretty awesome scenes, including being able to guide a missile into an airship, navigate the corridors with it, and annihilate the pilot with it

That's just awesomeness. So would you get to play as a unit from all 3 races depending on what mission you're on? Like, say, a Terran Ghost, a Zerg Hydralisk, or a Protoss Zealot? Or maybe they're be more stuff, like Dragoons or something.
Now that I think about it...that could make for some pretty sweet multiplayer...

i was addicted to brood war in middle school to sophomore year in high school. then i was addicted to diablo 2.
i used to be really good at brood war. my record was something like 1407-568-62. I still have the account (i log on sometimes to make sure i can keep the account)
