The Top 100 Games Ever?

I found another list over on IGN of the top 100 games based on their readers picks of the greatest games, in the history of games EVER. For me, I'm kinda giddy RE4 owned No. 1, but was surprised games like Halo, just to name one, didn't even crack the top 10. See if how your faves ranked here:

yeah this list isnt that great,for example.i think final fantasy x should be a lot higher than what it is.though thats just my opinion.and i think that shenmue should be in the top 20.and ocarina of time should be no1.though RE4 is still a great game

Games that got robbed: Where to begin? Final Fantasy 10, Final Fantasy 7, Super Mario 3, Metroid Prime, LoZ: Link to the Past, ok enough!!!!!

Sorry, but this was crap! I feel as if I wasted my time. It just didn't give a whole lot of props to the games that came before.

FF7 at 27? wtf m8. RE4 is WAY overrated on that.. it's fun but no competition for the great games. i like ocarana of time being up there, tho i personally prefer majora's mask, ocarana was great for its time. FFX should be higher, as ben said. that list has some serious problems... oh, and MGS3 on the top 10? i bought the game and quit playin after like 3 hours cuz it was so boring. i loved MGS2, great plot and i've played it over again like 6 or 7 times. it's a great one that should be top 10, not snake eater

The problem with Snake Eater was that you had to have a LOT of PATIENCE!!!!! Not saying you don't, dude, but it was way to tiring on me. The two games that made me furious were FF10 and FF7. Those are the only two games in which I have EVER cried in! Period! Don't put them that low!

definately. and mgs2 was 68. tho that was nearly 10 places higher than starcraft, which launched blizzard and was a great game that had a serious impact on online gaming.

I am not that big into online play, but I do give props to Starcraft and WOW. Just not my type of games.

Nah, I don't feel any bashin'. I agree that RE4 doesn't deserve the top spot, as great a game as it is. If you are a fan of the RE franchise, you'll know why its being so highly praised. It may not be No. 1 for many fans, but its a game that showed the Gamecube could be capable of displaying some seriously 'Mature' rated content, and not in that GTA kinda way. Its the No. 1 game for the Gamecube in my opinion, but not No. 1 of all games in consideration.

I really like LoZ:OoT being up there, it definately deserves it. But I was just surprised alot of those games you guys have mentioned weren't higher, especially because of all the talk about games like Halo and FF, etc.
