Well its not that FF wouldn't come out on Sony platforms anymore, it would just be both Xbox and Playstation. It wouldn't be exclusive to Sony. And about that PS2... there are not going to be any more new Final Fantasy games for it, not true numbered ones at least. All PS3 now, thats what XIII is coming out on, as of now.

hello, i got really far in elder scrolls 4 oblivion, but then i wanted to start another charachter, and accidentaly saved over my old profile, but i have all my achievments on xbox live - is there some way that i can get my charachter back?

I don't think there is for that, the achievements are separate from the game save files...man, that really sucks

You prolly could have gotten the Autosave, but too late, huh... Dude, what a rip-off!

I always keep like 4815162342 saves so I can pick up from whenever I want that works well for me.

I'm a recent convert to the 360 (you can probably tell by looking at my gamer score and games). What games do you recommend? I've heard a lot about Lost Planet but I played the demo and wasn't too impressed.

I'm definitely looking forward to Assassin's Creed.

p.s. I'm a mac user - is there any way I can get my mac to work with the 360 in a media center type way?

If it was maybe a month ago I would say Crackdown to get access to the Halo 3 beta. Still, it's a fun game although a little shallow. It has awesome explosions and super abilities, but it took about 10 hours or so to do all the main missions on medium.

I will say the next few months will be tremendous. Bioshock (Aug), Halo 3 (Sept), GTA IV (Oct), Assassins Creed (Nov-I think). It feels like I'm forgetting something but those are going to be some killer games.

I've heard a lot of positive stuff about Oblivion. The only thing that keeps me away is the RPG factor. I'll lose interest if its anything like final fantasy or other turn based type games.

I just downloaded the demo for Tenchu Z. I thought it was...eh.

Don't worry it is not like Final Fantasy at all, its pretty much completely opposite. It is not turn based combat, and the story is not linear. You can do whatever mission you want, whenever you want to. You don't even have to do any missions, exploring will bring you to places and you can waste tons of time doing side quests. But get ready to spend over 100 hour if and when you get hooked.

Now that got me in the mood to go play it again, too bad my character sucks. Maybe I'll start a new game?

The thing that makes me hesitant to buy any new game is the price. $60 may not seem like a lot to others but I'm a totally broke college student. So I really have to make sure its a game worth buying.

The last game I bought on the 360 was gears of war. Other than GoW and Battle for Middle Earth all I play are mini-games like Hexic. I need new games!

Ah Final Fantasy...I really hope XIII will also get released on 360...

And he's right, Oblivion is NOTHING like FF. Pretty much everything about the gameplay is different, you can pretty much do ANYTHING you want, and on top of that, the world is nothing like FF...that's probably the one thing I kinda don't like about Oblivion actually...I like my games to be in Final Fantasy-esque worlds. Not saying it's a bad game though! Play Oblivion. It's amazing.
