okay this thread is for you all to tell which game you think is all out amazing and deserved so much more attention than it got...so post your favorite overlooked game here (and by overlooked that means no halo, no FF, no GTA, etc., sorry but i thought that'd be more interesting)
My favorite overlooked game ever is easily Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the gamecube. Anyone who has ever played this game knows it is 150% pure awesome. A captivating, intense story, a perfect blend of puzzle elements and action, and on top of that its a survival horror game. Add in the cool magic you can do, great control scheme, the great cast of over 10 different characters all blending into a story covering 2000 years and you've got an amazing game. Too bad hardly anyone knew about it.

Don't you mean Mario Party, Blaw? ;D
Anyways, I think I agree with you imlost. I've heard of this game and played it, but I didn't finish it. I only got 4 characters into the game when I rented it, but it was good. Very scary, and a very unusual to put on the GC...but a great game nonetheless. I liked who you had a sanity bar that fluctuated and if you let it get too low, you'd hallucinate. It made it hard to play, thinking you died and then a flash of bright light..oh...it wasn't real after all. You may even need therapy after this game.

Well.. seeming as my favorite games evvverr are the Dead or Alive series, I'll go with that. Hardly anyone really knows about it, but it has totaly awsome graphics and it's hand-to-hand combat unlike Soul Calibur or whatever. The games never get old cus it takes forever to unlock EVERYTHING. You can unlock like 29043720 costumes, characters, and stages. I've had Dead or Alive 4 since it came out when the Xbox 360 did, and I'm still playing it.

Well, I no one was was asking for your opinion. The GC was cool. And Timesplitters 2 was an arcade game too, no? I think I remember playing that while waiting for a movie or something... By the way, I think the title of this thread should be "Most Overlooked Game", it sounds a bit wierd now.

Beyond Good and Evil was an AMAZING game ... it got really good reviews but really crappy sales figues ... they were going to make a sequal but they didn't because of the poor sales of the first one, which really sucks because it was reall fantastic... >:(anyone with a Gamecube or PS2 check it out, it's quite short but really really brilliant...
