Whoa! Looks like you have more people on your bandwagon, Blaw. Only 500,000 units of PS3 will be available at launch Sony said (WORLDWIDE - that's a puny number) compared to the 6 million slated to be available for the Wii launch. If your one of the dwindling PS faithful, get on a list, or you'll have to wait til March like much of Europe.

hehe well for sony you would most likely spend 700+, the "good" console and a game, and for all those people who are doing that, YOU ARE CRAZY!" Buy a 360 and play oblivion for a year, you won't even recognize the name sony afterwards.

i agree blaw, its crazy to spend that much money on a games console
a sony fan will then reply "but its a got a blu ray drive"
i dont need a blu ray or hd dvd drive as i dont have a hd tv to aprechiate the higher quality, so im happy with my basic dvd player in my 360.
then the sony fan will then say
"but our games can hold 305435435-43 times more than a dvd 9"
then i say "oblivion is freakin huge and they managed to get that onto a dvd - and this game rocks"
but anywho, sony should have done what microsoft did, have a hd dvd add on drive, because then they wouldnt have had too much problems with making the ps3
oh well.....

Sony is just way too strung up on trying to push techology. Having the ablilty to play DVDs is so last generation, so I think there arrogence with making the PS3 made them patent blue-ray and is giving them their delay problems now with there diode chip BS. We're still not sure if the Wii will be able to play DVDs. I really don't care, but some people do.
