Dinner at Comicon?

I already posted this on the "Show News and Suggestions" board, but didn't get any takers other than Steve.

I just found that Comicon plans are taking place on the Misc board this year.

I don't know if this will interfere with anything planned so far, but if not...

I know there's the Jay and Jack panel on Saturday at Comicon and I think that is REALLY great, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in just going out for dinner on Thursday after the Lost panel? (Assuming they haven't moved it again, of course...)

We'll all be there and it would give people a chance to talk in a more informal setting than the panel on Saturday. (Do you think Jay and Jack know they'll be on stage in front of a bunch of people?)

We could make a reservation somewhere if people sign up ahead of time or (and this would be way easier logistically and cheaper, too) just head to the food court at the top of Horton Plaza. I've eaten there with groups at comicon many times and they have some areas you can pull tables together. And everyone can get what they want to eat, so we don't have to agree on a restaurant.

It would give us a chance to chat and share our thoughts on the just concluded Lost panel. So, any interest?

(And if this DOES interfere with previously laid plans just let me know...)

It's a possiblity, but I haven't had time to finish going over the schedule yet. I do hope that we all get a chance to chat in person. Everyone has conflicting schedules so it is hard to get everyone together, but I have my fingers crossed.

I just found out that I most likely will not be able to make it to the panel tomorrow, and there are no words for how utterly bummed I am about that. I thought it was going to be a sure thing, but as usual something got in the way. When you guys make definite plans for a post-panel meetup, could you make a board post of where it is or PM me and maybe I can try to catch you guys afterward?
