I don't know whether anyone touched on this subject, but I thought that one way ABC could gain new audience and satisfy the fans would be to start showing reruns of S. 1 through S. 3 during the hiatus.
They don't seem to have that many great shows anyway. I certainly would rewatch them, even though I already own the DVDs and plan to buy S. 3 DVD.

Yeah, they did that a bit fafter season two ended. I renimber sinceI didn't start wacthing lsot untill maturnitly leave. I kept with it untill the en of season two, and I started wacthing season two from the beginning. They played two episodes back to back. However, they stopped playing reruns after "What Kate did", whcih really sucked for me since I reallyw atned to see "The Hutning Party"
I must go on a tanget for a second, and say that was a weird experience. I saw the last act of season two, and then then I got to fill in some of the blanks during the hiatus. But I didn't get all the blanks filled n, untill that Septimber when I started wathing the first season.. So, in fact, the last episodes had seen cathing upt o the series was "The Hutning Party", Fire plus water", and a great episode "One of them"
i also think it'd be a good diea to play one episode a week at least of lost. In fact, you can start from the beginning. i know the lost community was talking about this last week...with su ch a long haitus ahead of us, fi your not going to play it on abc, why not abc famaly? I'd say they could play it on scifi liike heroes, but then again, heroes is only being played on scifi because it is owned by the same guys who do NBC).

Yes, maybe Heroes is played on SciFi because NBC owns it, but ABC could do the same in other stations they own. Besides, I still think that showing LOST is better than showing According to Jim and George Lopez Show.
