Is there a way to turn off viewing the giant images in everyone's signature lines? Some of them are very large and distracting...bordering on obnoxious. No offense, folks...I just prefer reading what you post and not having to hunt for text in between the photoshopped fanboy sig lines.  |

Good news, yes there is a way. Go to modify your profile and in the "Account Preferences" section there is an option to turn off signatures.

ALso, if you are just annoyed by a few of the signatures, use firefox and a plug in like adblock. Just right click the sig image and block it. It won't show up any more.

i know what youre saying, but i like the signatures. you see some userbars for a band you like, and you know you have something in common with that person. you see a funny signature, and it makes you laugh, and like that person. but do what you want...

It confuses me when people don't have avatars or sigs... I always identify them that way, cause it takes to long to read the name. But that's just, like, OCD or something.

Annnd I'm posting to much. *takes tranquilizer* no, i think its add. i know i identify dharmashark by the big three thing, and i use to identify her by her old avatar. i assume people recognize me more by the silent bob picture, than the name silent bob, and back in the day when i did a flash cartoon every week, people would identify me by that. |

I don't know why I think that but it's easier to recognize someone by the pictures than by the name. Actually, a few times, I have called people that had the same avatars as someone else by the other members name. |
