Here's the fact for today. On September 27, 1927, when Lotte Frutiger of Allalinhorn, Switzerland, was only eight years old, she climbed Mount Allalinhorn - which is 13,234 feet high and always covered with ice. Well, that's it for today.

That's amazing, I think I would be so afraid to let my child that was only 8 yrs. old do something like that, heck I'd be afraid if they did it now, and they're all grown up
