Wow I've been slacking with this. Barking Sands Beach, on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, has sand that barks like a dog. The dry sand grains emit this strange sound when you walk on them in bare feet. I'm not sure how regular my facts will be anymore, but you owe this fact plus all the others you get to Bev. She encouraged me to start this back up. Thanks Bev. Also, you owe these to two other major supporters, Steelchick, and Lillostgirly.

Hey Pogs, I have a funny story for you concerning this fact: Here's the fact for today. The world's largest bullfighting ring is in Mexico City. The "Plaza de Toros" opened in 1946 and has a seating capacity of about fifty thousand people. Well, that's it for today. I was watching a programme over here called "who wants to be a millionaire" which is when people answer questions in order to win money bit the questions get harder and harder each time. Anyway, this one guy was asked what was the name of the largest bullfighting ring in the world and if he got it right, he won £24,000!! He didn't know the answer but I did!! And the message of the story is- POST MORE FACTS!! It might one day let me win £24,000 and I'll split it with you if that's the case! ;D

Here's the fact for today. I obviously can't let go of this thread as I've said that I would be shutting it down about 3 times now and I still keep posting facts every once and a while. Okay, now for the real fact. More than half of a dollar bill is considered legal tender. Only the front of a dollar bill is valuable. If you could separate the front of a bill from the back, only the front half would be considered "money." I hope you enjoyed the first fact in quite a while, I'm not sure how often I'll be doing this, but I just can't let go of this thread. I worked on it for over a year of my life. It means too much to me to let it completely die.

Sweet. You're a Nerdfighter too? Awesome. PogsKlinc Jr. won't be around for quite a while. Fact time! Muppets creator Jim Henson first created Kermit in 1955 - as a lizard.

Thank you Igmar. I've been ignoring this thread far too long. I'd like to try and do this much more often.

I just realized that this thread has now been around for over 2 years. Wow. Just thinking back. Why do I feel so nostalgic? Here's a delayed fact for today. A 10-gallon hat barely holds 6 pints Well, that's it. Hopefully not for forever.

So, it's been a half a year since my last fact. Here's another. Yahoo the complex internet organism has complicated name. Word "Yahoo" is shortcut for "Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle". It was coined by PhD candidates at Stanford University: David Filo and Jerry Yang. Well, that's it for today, and probably the rest of the year. Why won't I just let this thread die? Anyways, I hope you enjoyed. Please feel free to comment.
