This might be tied to not letting people start new discussions in that area. I'll ping Jay on it. Basically you should be able to post inside the thread, but not create new ones.

you're... gunna download memory? hate to break it to ya, but until vista comes out, the only way you can add RAM (random access memory, the quick stuff that helps your comp run, as apposed to ROM which is hard discs/cds that hold data) is by buying it, opening up your computer and puttin it in the motherboard. With vista you'll be able to turn any USB Flash drive into virtual memory (what RAM is, tho this also includes other stuff)
I dunno what you're gunna download.. i'd guess something that allocates tome HD space to act like RAM, tho this rarely works very well at all, it's used mostly for unofficial big memory 3rd party files, such as emulators (PCSX2 does this)
