Yes, Sony sucks. I get an early christmas present. What is it you ask? LOST season 1. When I got home from Target, I raced to my Playstation 2. I put it in....and it doesen't read the disc. I try for HOURS. I called Sony, but they were closed. So at about midinght, 3 hours later, I actually got it to work. I had to like shake it in some direction. But, of course, I fell asleep during the Pilot episode. Great. Now I pretty much can't watch it untiil pretty much after christmas, when we're in california, already moved out. Great. If anyone has a similar story, tell it. It'd be pretty cool.

Bummer, man. My real-life story relating to Lost is today while Christmas shopping I swear I was in line next to Bernard. He even had the same jaunty cravat around his neck. I found myself staring and then looking around for Rose. Tee hee.

I'm sorry Rusty, maybe you could go down to the mall and ask Santa for a DVD player, you can't get them for pretty cheap now.

That is Great...Not enough people sport the Jaunty Cravat. I say we bring it back...although, as I have in My Signature, Arzt also had a Jaunty Cravat, and he BLEW UP!!! Oh well, still cool!

That he did. I surely hope they do not kill off Bernard. He and Rose are a great couple.

I'm just glad to see the word "jaunty" in this thread. That word tends to be used gratuitously when I'm with my family. Along with "festive". ;D

One of my dogs chewed the leg off of the Big Bird ornament this morning. Do you know what the first thing I thought of was? Yep . . . Lost!

O.K. this may be in very poor taste, but did anyone see the home video of the Chalks airplane crashing near Miami yesterday? The first thing my kids said was, "That looks like the smoke from the Others." Seeing that flaming piece of something and the separate rest of the plane just fall into the ocean. . . well, it just takes one's mind to Lost. Geez, it just went kerplunk. They didn't seem all that high in the sky and no one survived. I feel sorry for those families esp. at Christmas.

Yesterday, my daughter and I were driving home and saw a guy walking along the sidewalk. We both did a double take and then looked at each other, thinking the same thing. He was a dead ringer for Charlie.

OK, I have a really good Real-Life Story about Lost! I just got a call from my brother in Hawaii and it turns out that my cousin is dating Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. All of my paternal cousins, uncles and aunts (extended family) live in hawaii -- that's where my father was born and raised and I am Native Hawaiian. Anyway, they have been hanging out for a little while. He has been up to my Aunts home (formerly my grandmothers home) a few times and he invited her to go with him to Nigeria for the holidays, but that plan kinda fell threw.
Kinda crazy ... I need to call her and see how they met and stuff.

Akamauu, that is a good story. You will have to see if you can get an autographed picture for a podcast prize.
