Does anybody read Drudge Report? I do... this was a link I found and thought might interest/amuse some of you guys. www.dailynews.com/news/ci_3529716LA has black goo creeping up from beneath sidewalks and man holes, and destroying old buildings... wasn't there a movie about this in the 80's? |

actually there was a movie called the Blob, in the 80's it was directed by Chuck Russell (the Mask, Scorpion King) but the 80's version was a remake of one of Steve McQueens first films.
the blob was made 30 years before the 1988 version.
i am a HUGE fan of the original blob. if you want to check it out, there is a criterion collection dvd of the 1958 version!

I get my news at Drudgereport.com ... Matt Drudge was the first to break the Monica Lewinski story, and he helped make internet news a true point of interest. he always finds the most fascinating stories.
